COMPASSIONATE CARE

My Approach

Healing starts with understanding, not judgment. Together, we'll make sense of your experiences, uncover what's keeping you stuck, and create lasting change.

My philosophy

Therapy should feel human.

I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest, challenged enough to grow, and supported enough to know you don't have to do it alone.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based. I'll bring curiosity, compassion, and practical tools to each session, but most importantly, I'll meet you where you are.

Because therapy isn't about becoming someone new.

It's about reconnecting with the person you've always been underneath the survival strategies.

Guiding principles

What guides my work

Every therapist brings a different perspective into the room. These are the principles that guide mine.

UNDERSTANDING BEFORE ASSUMPTIONS

Your symptoms are telling a story.

Anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma, burnout, and relationship challenges don't happen in a vacuum. Rather than asking "What's wrong with you?" we'll explore what your experiences have taught your mind and nervous system—and how understanding those patterns can create lasting change.

COLLABORATION OVER DIRECTION

You are the expert on yourself.

I bring clinical expertise and evidence-based tools, but you bring something just as important—your lived experience. Therapy is a collaborative process where we combine both, helping you better understand yourself and move toward lasting change.

LASTING CHANGE MATTERS

More than symptom management.

Therapy isn't just about getting through another week. Together, we'll build self-awareness, uncover patterns, and create meaningful change that continues long after our sessions end.

my Toolkit

Evidence-Based & Human-Centered

Your story is unique, so your care plan should be too. I am trained in a range of modalities and will integrate the right tools for you. These are the "how" behind the "what."

AFFIRMING CARE

Everyone deserves to feel safe here.

Therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are. Rosemeade Counseling is committed to providing an affirming, inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC individuals where your identity is respected, celebrated, and never something you need to explain or defend.

Whether you're exploring your identity, navigating relationships, processing life's challenges, or simply looking for a therapist who understands the importance of affirming care, you'll be met with curiosity, compassion, and respect.
